The Cat-Back MBRP Exhaust Review:
Good Points
Installation is a breeze. The hardest part is removing the old exhaust.
Nice mean growl when you step on it. The noise is out through the pipe where it should be and not in the cab.
This system comes highly recommended by previous buyers.
Quiet at idle and cruise.
A very noticeable power increase.
Since adding this exhaust a customer said he found himself cruising like he was a kid again. Definitely adds excitement.
Bad Points
Louder than some expected.
A few people said the wrong clamp came in the box but MBRP sent out a new one right away.
Extension pipe was too long. I had to cut it but it did not mention this in the instructions.(see summary)
Summary:
All in all the great majority of customers said that they loved this exhaust system. Some said they had replaced their old performance systems with the cat-back MBRP exhaust and they were very happy with the result. This system seems to be loud but most agreed the sound was out through the pipes and not obnoxiously through the cab. It has been mentioned to start at the tailpipe when installing and when everything is good measure the extension pipe if it needs to be cut for proper fit. A lot of people said to use a reciprocating saw (sawzall) with a metal blade to remove the old exhaust, now you're ready to add your new cat-back MBRP exhaust.
