MIG Welding Tips: Exhaust Tubing V8TV

MIG Welding Tips: Exhaust Tubing V8TV Video Clips.

www.v8tvshow.com - Here's a quick tip on welding exhaust tubing with your MIG welder... do it HOT and FAST! This technique shows how to burn deep-penetrating, low-profile welds that look great on their own or can be easily dressed for polishing or coating. The secret is to use high amperage (or heat) and a series of quick tack welds, and give the work time to cool between each tack! Resist the urge to seam-weld the whole tube... you'll have to run your welder too "cold" to prevent burn through, resulting in welds that are stacked high on the tubing, not only looking poorly, but also not penetrating as deep as you'd like.

Water Heater Reviews - Selecting the Best Water Heating System

Water Heater Reviews - Selecting the Best Water Heating System

Exhaust System

Water heater reviews article is helping you to find the right and most effective solution for your residential water heating. The article will cover different types of water heating systems and provide helpful tips in choosing the right model.

Did you know that water heating is the second largest energy user in your home?

This is one of the reasons why you should be very careful in selecting the right water heating solution. When buying a new hot water unit, or switching from one to another water heater, several factors should be considered:

* Fuel source (gas, electricity, solar, oil)
* Price and operating costs
* Size (point of use, tankless, storage tank)
* Quality
* Favorite brand (Rheem, AO Smith, Rinnai, Noritz...)
* Repair cost and parts availability
* Available features (Modulation, Sediment build-up protection...)

Water Heaters Reviews based on the Fuel Source

Gas fired appliances can use both natural gas and propane gas or LP. Look for the model with high energy factor EF. The higher the better. The main advantage is that they produce hot water fast using a cheaper fuel source.

Electric water heating appliances are good pick where gas is not a viable solution. The main advantages are the lower initial cost, easy installation and troubleshooting, safety and flexibility.

Solar water heating systems are very simple systems that are using renewable and cost-free solar energy. They are a life-long investment that will pay off in the long run.

Oil fired heaters with a higher combustion temperatures make them quick recovery units, higher than both gas and electrical units.

Based on the Size and Technology

Tankless heaters usually called on demand or instantaneous hot water systems are providing hot water when it is needed. The main advantages are lack of the tank, endless hot water supply, high efficiency, high percentage of replaceable elements, longevity, small in size and flexibility during installation. Popular manufacturers are Rinnai, Noritz, Bosch, Paloma, Rheem...

Water tank heaters for residential use are the most common type of water heating systems in North America. The most popular size is 50 gallon tank, powered by electricity or gas. Top North American manufacturers are Rheem, AO Smith, Bradford White, State, American...

Water Heaters Reviews - Based on the Venting

Direct vent heaters are appliances with a built-in venting system that brings the air in and forces the fumes out but without using the electric powered blower.

Power vent heater is similar to direct vent models but it uses electrically operated blower for the assistance, to mechanically exhaust the combustion gases to the outside.

Atmospheric units are using a vertical vent, either type B, double wall metal or brick chimney. Adequate air supply has to be provided for proper gas combustion, usually from inside the house.

TTW are through the wall vent water heaters either using a direct vent system or blower.

Other types of water heaters

High Efficiency water heaters are recognized as EnergyStar models as they provide better performance, reduce pollution, reduce costs and get the government grants for their owners. Look for EF equal or higher than.82.
